Fair Use Policy

Usage limits

Standard subscriptions accommodate up to 1,000,000 requests per month. A request includes any call to the service, such as loading an energy arrow icon, energy label, or product information sheet within your Shopify store.

Short-term traffic spikes of up to 20% above the limit for a maximum of 7 days per month are acceptable.

What counts as unreasonable usage?

• Continuous usage exceeding 130% of the fair usage limits for more than 2 consecutive months
• Automated bulk actions creating excessive system strain without prior authorisation
• Circumventing technical safeguards
• Activities that disrupt the service for other customers

What happens if usage is excessive?

If excessive usage is detected, we will:

• Provide written notification with usage details
• Grant a 14-day period to reduce consumption or negotiate alternative arrangements
• Implement temporary feature restrictions or service suspension if the issue is not resolved

Transparency

You may request access to your usage data at any time to monitor compliance. We are committed to proportionate, good-faith responses when addressing usage concerns.

Policy updates

Changes to this policy require 30 days' advance notice. You have the right to terminate if modifications are unacceptable.
